REVES aspires to be a long-term vision and to build an international network of wildlife learners. In this perspective, we have developed a long training offer (several levels, over several years) in order to train and accompany learners on the Way of the Wild.

Learners will be accompanied throughout their course by professional speakers artists, craftspeople, academics, wildlife explorers… We will also bring specific tools for tribal living and conflict management (NVC, Holacracy…) which will be transmitted to the learners during the course, with a view to individual empowerment within the group.

We provide comprehensive training in both form and content, and take particular care to ensure the coherence of our teaching. During the training, we will try our best to adopt a healthy, wild and conscious way of life, in harmony with our human brothers and sisters as well as with all the beings of the forest and the rest of the living world.

Our pedagogy is tribal, organic, experimental, evolving, and constantly improving. It aims to allow individual freedom in collective life, to take care of individual needs as well as the common vision. We have the tools to ensure this as best as possible.

During each module, we make sure to guarantee a holistic approach which is the specificity of REVES. We remind you that R.E.V.E.S. is an acronym that means: ”
Recovering the Vital Momentum and the Wild Spirit
“.

Each module includes certain workshops that are part of an approach known as
external
or
technical
(handicraft, manual knowledge…) and others with an approach called
interior
or
intimate
(sensitive, poetic, artistic, sensory, corporal, spiritual…).

This balance ensures harmony and coherence in the learning of the Wild Life, for an empirical knowledge not only learned but also lived and felt in the depths of our beings.

Let’s walk together to meet the Arts and Techniques of the Wild Life.

Welcome to the Tribe!

One course, one year, 6 modules

a long, complete, adaptive training

Duration

The training is composed of 6 modules of 5 or 6 days each, spread over approximately one year.

The themes of the modules are: wood, fire, metal, water, earth, animal.

At your own pace

It is possible to register for each module separately. If you are unable to participate in one of the modules of the 2023-2024 curriculum, it is possible to make it up the following year to validate the curriculum.

Certification

The completion of all of these courses leads to the award of a Level 1 Wilderness Certificate. This certificate attests that you have acquired the basics of the arts and techniques of wilderness living, allowing you to live in a tribe within the forest and the Living.

A new feature in 2023!

The year 2023 is the launch year for the training. It is therefore possible that the schedule may be subject to change, in order to make the necessary adjustments while adapting to the availability of stakeholders.

Cost

The standard fee for a module is 500 € plus a 50 € membership fee (payable once per calendar year). A support fee of 600 € allows a person with no income to benefit from a scholarship.

Content of the training

The red thread of the training is woven around the 5 Chinese seasons corresponding to 5 fundamental universal elements (earth – wood – fire – metal – water) to which is added a module around the animal. We have chosen this framework not for its specific cultural anchorage, but on the contrary for its universality in the eyes of the Living. Indeed, the modules we propose are perfectly articulated with these elements from Nature and Wildlife.

The Workshops – also known as “classic” Dream Encounters – and the Training are mainly distinguished by four aspects:

  • frequency : the training courses take place 3 to 4 times a year, whereas the training course involves taking 6 modules spread over more than a year (i.e. one module every two months or so).
  • duration: the courses last between 6 and 8 days, the training modules last between 4 and 6 days.
  • the size of the group: between 50 and 100 participants in the Courses, and between 20 and 30 in the Training, which allows a better learning, a personalized accompaniment and a small-scale group dynamic.
  • The goal: the Internships aim to experience life in a tribe in a large format (wild village) and in intergenerationality, while the Training aims mainly at transmitting knowledge and favors the autonomy of the group.

The subsequent question would be: “by whom?

– By the State, institutions, other training centers, the job center or the Caf? I might as well say it right away: no. The day it happens, a new paradigm will have emerged in favor of Life, and there is a good chance that these institutions will be obsolete.

– By the Meeting of the DREAMs: yes. This means that we recognize the path we have taken in terms of learning techniques but also in terms of a sensitive connection with the forest, the wild world, the Living. We hope that in the long run this training will become more advanced and richer with each passing year. Carried by the influence of the REVES, it could gradually establish itself as a reference within the rewilding movement in Europe. This holistic and integrative training in the field of Wildlife is in any case to our knowledge a great first in the European French-speaking world.

Yes, it is possible to register for each module separately. If you are unable to participate in one of the modules of the 2023 curriculum, it is possible to make it up the following year to validate the curriculum.

Anyone, regardless of age, can enroll in the training. Nevertheless, it is good to know that the training has not been thought pedagogically to welcome young children. It is therefore expected that each participant is autonomous, while being of course interrelated within the tribe. That being said, if resourceful children or motivated teenagers have a strong impulse to participate in the training, they are welcome. If this is your case, please contact us to talk about it.

Recall that from a tribal village perspective, intergenerationality within REVES is not only welcome but strongly encouraged.

No. You can be a complete neophyte setting foot in a forest for the first time, as well as a woodlander adept at wilderness life, you are welcome. Whatever our ease in the forest and our progress on the path of the Wild, we all have things to learn from each other and from the forest.

Life is a long apprenticeship to unfold our capacity to live free, happy and in harmony with the rest of the living world.
